Foaling
Foaling is one of the most important moments in a horse’s life, and we treat it that way. Mares foal in our purpose-built mare and foal boxes, monitored by camera 24 hours a day, with experienced staff on site and ready to help. Our vet checks every foal soon after birth. Once your foal arrives, we’ll send you a full foaling report, followed by photos of mother and foal in their first couple of days. Mare and foal then go out together in quiet paddocks, so your foal gets the calm, natural start that every good racehorse needs.

Permanent Boarding
Year round care for your thoroughbreds. Your mares and youngstock can live with us permanently, with every aspect of their care handled by our experienced team. We take mares to the stallion for covering and organise regular farrier visits, dentistry, worming and vaccinations, along with vet visits whenever they’re needed. Horses live out with plenty of space and good grass, and come in whenever the weather or their needs call for it. You’ll hear from us regularly, so you always know how your horses are getting on, wherever you are.
Sales Prep
If you’ve bought a foal or yearling, we can look after them here until it’s time to sell, then prepare them properly for the ring.
- Weanlings for the foal sales join a group of our own foals, so they grow up settled, in company and handled every day.
- Yearlings follow a sales prep programme of hand-walking, grooming and good feeding, building the condition and manners to show themselves at their best.
- Breeze-up horses are backed and then brought through steady fitness work, so they arrive at the sale ready to breeze with confidence.
When it’s time to sell, your horse can be consigned under the Hyde Park Stud banner, a name buyers know and trust, at the leading sales in Ireland, England and France.

Horses in training need time off to rest, recover and simply be horses. At Hyde Park they get exactly that: good grass, space and a calm routine, with our experienced team keeping a close eye on them every day. We work with you and your trainer on turnout, feeding and any rehab or light exercise needed, and keep you updated throughout. Our own horseboxes can collect your horse from the yard and take them back when they’re ready, refreshed, sound and set for their next campaign.
