Established in 2001

Hyde Park Stud was founded by John Bourke in 2001 with one aim: to breed and raise racehorses of the highest quality. From our 220 acres at Killucan, Co. Westmeath, we have bred and consigned Group winners including Cachet, Haatem and Samedi Rien, and our horses go on to race for owners across Ireland, the UK, France and Italy.

We believe great racehorses are made by how they are raised. Every foal grows up with space, good grass and company, and is handled calmly from day one. Our experienced team knows each horse individually, and nothing is rushed. A horse that is well cared for, sound and settled is the one that goes on to perform.
